Who is Your Favorite Player of All Time?
There have been many great hockey players to play in the National Hockey League. From the past greats like Gordie Howe and the late Jean Beliveau to Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin, more and more great players are making the game of hockey more popular. I have been watching hockey for a long time and I have gotten the chance to see many great players play. Even though I have not seen this player play in a game, my favorite NHL player of all time is Mats Sundin. He had a career that spanned from 1990 to 2009. He spent 18 seasons in the NHL for the Quebec Nordiques, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Vancouver Canucks. He had 564 goals, 785 assists, and 1349 points in 1346 career games. He spent a majority of his career with the Maple Leafs where he served as captain. He was a fan favorite and he was a player that many young hockey players and fans looked up to. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2012. During the same year, the Toronto Maple Leafs retired his number 13 during a pregame ceremony prior to the start of a game between the Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens. He was a very influential hockey player and a terrific leader. Who is your favorite player?
