Predators Place Neal, Nystrom on Injured Reserve
The Nashville Predators placed forward James Neal and Eric Nystrom on the injured reserve. Neal, 27, has 13 goals, 10 assists, and 23 points in 35 games this season. Nystrom, 31, has five goals, four assists, and nine points in 39 games this season. The Predators also announced that they have called up forward Miikka Salomaki from Milwaukee of the American Hockey League. The 21-year-old Finnish product will make his NHL debut in tonight's game against the Dallas Stars.
