Pekka Rinne Injured

Nashville Predators' goaltender Pekka Rinne was injured in tonight's 5-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks. The incident occurred at 2:55 of the third period when Canucks' forward Chris Higgins and Predators' defenseman Anton Volchenkov collided into the net which caused Rinne to be knocked into the boards along with the net. He proceeded to stretch and ultimately left the game. Carter Hutton came in to replace the injured starting goaltender. Rinne, 32, has a record of (29-6-2) with three shutouts in 37 games this season.
