Flames Make Series of Moves

The Calgary Flames activated goaltender Karri Ramo off the injured reserve. Ramo, 28, has a record of (8-5-1) with two shutouts in 16 games this season. The Flames also called up defenseman Tyler Wotherspoon from Adirondack of the American Hockey League. Wotherspoon, 21, made his NHL debut with the Flames in the 2013-14 season. In 14 games, he recorded no goals, four assists, and four points. To make room, the Flames placed defenseman Ladislav Smid on the injured reserve and assigned forward Drew Shore to Adirondack. Smid, 28, has no goals, one assist, and one point in 31 games this season. Shore, 23, has no goals, assists, or points in one game this season.
