Sharks Place Two On Injured Reserve
The San Jose Sharks placed forward Tommy Wingels and defenseman Justin Braun on the injured reserve. Wingels, 26, has 11 goals, 14 assists, and 25 points in 47 games this season. Braun, 27, has one goal, 18 assists, and 19 points in 47 games this season. Due to the injuries, the Sharks called up defenseman Dylan DeMelo from Worcester of the American Hockey League. DeMelo, 21, has yet to appear in an NHL game.
