Roberto Luongo Leaves Game With Injury
Florida Panthers' goaltender Roberto Luongo left today's game against the Washington Capitals early. In the first period, he was involved in a first period collision with Capitals' captain Alex Ovechkin. Ovechkin's right shoulder made contact with Luongo's head. He remained in the game until the start of the third period. Al Montoya took over for Luongo in net. Luongo, 35, has a record of (15-7-7) with two shutouts in 29 games this season.
