Wild Place Kuemper on Injured Reserve, Call up Three
The Minnesota Wild placed goaltender Darcy Kuemper on the injured reserve with a lower-body injury. Kuemper, 24, has a record of (13-12-1) with three shutouts in 28 games this season. Since the Wild will be without Kuemper, defenseman Marco Scandella, and forward Zach Parise, the Wild called up goaltender John Curry, defenseman Jonathon Blum, and forward Jordan Schroeder from Iowa of the American Hockey League. Curry, 30, has a record of (0-0-1) in one game this season. Blum, 25, has not registered any goals, assists, or points in one game this season. Schroeder, 24, also does not have any goals, assists, or points in one game this season.
