Coyotes Place Two on Waivers
The Arizona Coyotes placed forward Brandon McMillan and defenseman Chris Summers on waivers. McMillan, 24, has one goal, two assists, and three points in 38 games this season. Summers, 26, has no goals, three assists, and three points in 14 games this season. The Coyotes also called up defenseman Philip Samuelsson from Portland of the American Hockey League. Samuelsson, 23, made his NHL debut with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2013-14 season. He did not register any goals, assists, or points in five games. He was traded to the Coyotes in exchange for forward Rob Klinkhammer.
