Canucks Acquire Brandon Sutter in Three-Player Trade
The Vancouver Canucks acquired forward Brandon Sutter and a third-round draft pick in the 2016 NHL Draft from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for forward Nick Bonino, defenseman Adam Clendening, and a second-round draft pick in the 2016 NHL Draft. Sutter, 26, has played in 495 career games for the Hurricanes and Penguins. He has 98 goals, 87 assists, and 185 points in his career. Bonino, 27, has played in 264 career games for the Ducks and Canucks. He has 48 goals, 78 assists, and 121 points in his career. Clendening, 22, has played in 21 career games for the Blackhawks and Canucks. He has one goal, three assists, and four points in his career.
