Stars Acquire Patrick Sharp in Four-Player Deal

The Dallas Stars acquired forward Patrick Sharp and defenseman Stephen Johns from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for defenseman Trevor Daley and forward Ryan Garbutt. Sharp, 33, has played in 745 career games for the Flyers and Blackhawks. He has 249 goals, 277 assists, and 526 points in his career. Johns, 23, has yet to appear in an NHL game. Daley, 31, has played in 756 career games for the Stars. He has 67 goals, 164 assists, and 231 points in his career. Garbutt, 29, has played in 198 career games for the Stars. He has 30 goals, 40 assists, and 70 points in his career.
