Blackhawks Extend Trevor van Riemsdyk
The Chicago Blackhawks signed defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk to a two-year extension through the 2017-18 season. The deal is worth an average annual value of $825,000. Van Riemsdyk, 23, made his NHL debut with the Blackhawks last season. In 18 games, he registered no goals, one assist, and one point in his rookie campaign.
