Ryan Suter Suspended
Minnesota Wild defenseman Ryan Suter was suspended for two games by the NHL Department of Player safety for elbowing Penguins' forward Steve Downie. Suter elbowed Downie at 4:22 of the second period of last night's 7-2 Penguins' victory. Downie left the game and did not return while Suter was not penalized on the play. He will forfeit $81,058.72 from the two games that he will miss. Suter, 29, has one goal, 22 assists, and 23 points in 40 games this season.
