Kris Letang Injured
Pittsburgh Penguins' defenseman Kris Letang was injured in last night's game against the Philadelphia Flyers. At 16:36 of the first period, Flyers' forward Zac Rinaldo hit Letang from behind. Letang stayed down on the ice and eventually left the game. Rinaldo was assessed a five-minute major boarding penalty and a game misconduct. He will be receiving a hearing from the NHL Department of Player Safety. Letang, 27, has nine goals, 23 assists, and 32 points in 40 games this season.
