Lupul, Holland Injured; Leafs Call up McKegg
Toronto Maple Leafs' forward Joffrey Lupul was placed on the injured reserve with a lower-body injury that he suffered in last night's 4-3 shootout win over the Boston Bruins. Lupul, 31, has nine goals, eight assists, and 17 points in 26 games this season. Peter Holland suffered an upper-body injury in the same game and will undergo further evaluations. Holland, 23, has eight goals, eight assists, and 16 points in 38 games this season. Due to these two injuries, the Maple Leafs called up forward Greg McKegg from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. McKegg, 22, made his NHL debut with the Maple Leafs in the 2013-14 season. In one game, he did not register any goals, assists, or points.
