Sharks Place Vlasic on Injured Reserve
The San Jose Sharks placed defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic on the injured reserve. Vlasic, 27, has six goals, 11 assists, and 17 points in 52 games this season. To take his place, the Sharks called up defenseman Dylan DeMelo from Worcester of the American Hockey League. DeMelo, 21, has yet to make his NHL debut.
