Blackhawks Make Multiple Moves

The Chicago Blackhawks placed forward Patrick Kane on the injured reserve with an upper-body injury. He was injured in last night's game against the Florida Panthers. Kane, 26, has 27 goals, 37 assists, and 64 points in 61 games this season. To take his place, the Blackhawks called up forward Teuvo Teravainen from Rockford of the American Hockey League. Teravainen, 20, has two goals, two assists, and four points in 15 games this season. The Blackhawks also assigned defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk to Rockford. The 23-year-old defenseman has no goals, one assist, and one point in 18 games this season.
