Predators Acquire Franson, Santorelli in Four-Player Trade
The Nashville Predators acquired defenseman Cody Franson and forward Mike Santorelli from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for forwards Olli Jokinen and Brendan Leipsic and the Predators' first-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft. Franson, 27, has six goals, 26 assists, and 32 points in 55 games this season. Santorelli, 29, has 11 goals, 18 assists, and 29 points in 57 games this season. Jokinen, 36, has three goals, three assists, and six points in 48 games this season. Leipsic, 20, has yet to appear in an NHL game.
