Islanders Placed Grabner on Injured Reserve, Call Up Two
The New York Islanders placed forward Michael Grabner on the injured reserve. Grabner, 27, has five goals, two assists, and seven points in 18 games this season. The Islanders also called up forwards Colin McDonald and Harry Zolnierczyk from Bridgeport of the American Hockey League. McDonald, 30, has no goals, assists, or points in two games this season. Zolnierczyk, 27, has played in 57 career games for the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins. He has five goals, four assists, and nine points in his career.
