Oilers Place Nikitin on Injured Reserve, Call Up Marincin
The Edmonton Oilers placed defenseman Nikita Nikitin on the injured reserve. Nikitin, 28, has three goals, five assists, and eight points in 34 games this season. To take his place, the Oilers called up defenseman Martin Marincin from Oklahoma City of the American Hockey League. Marincin, 22, has no goals, one assist, and one point in 12 games this season.
