Blackhawks Acquire Kimmo Timonen
The Chicago Blackhawks acquired defenseman Kimmo Timonen from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for a 2015 second-round pick and a conditional 2016 fourth-round pick. Timonen, 39, has played in 1,092 career games for the Nashville Predators and Philadelphia Flyers. He has 117 goals, 454 assists, and 571 points in his career. He has yet to play in a game this season due to blood clots.
