Sabres Acquire Evander Kane in Seven-Player Deal
The Buffalo Sabres acquired forward Evander Kane, defenseman Zach Bogosian, and goaltender Jason Kasdorf from the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for defenseman Tyler Myers and forwards Drew Stafford, Joel Armia, and Brendan Lemieux (not pictured). Kane, 23, has 10 goals, 12 assists, and 22 points in 37 games this season. Bogosian, 24, has three goals, 10 assists, and 13 points in 41 games this season. Kasdorf, 22, has yet to appear in an NHL game. Myers, 25, has four goals, nine assists, and 13 points in 47 games this season. Stafford, 29, has nine goals, 15 assists, and 24 points in 50 games this season. Armia, 21, has no goals, assists, or points in one game this season. Lemieux, 18, has yet to play in an NHL game.
