Winter Classic: Players to Watch For

The 2015 Winter Classic is just two days away. It will be an exciting game that is sure to draw viewers from all across the United States and Canada. Both the Chicago Blackhawks and the Washington Capitals are teams that are full of superstars and a lot of talent. Even though I would like to mention multiple players on each team, I am going to keep it simple and point out one player from each team to watch during this annual game. For the Chicago Blackhawks, the player that I am singling out is Patrick Kane. Patrick Kane is one of those young players who has terrific stick-handling skills and is a very fast skater. This will also be a big game for Kane because he is an American hockey player and he will be playing an outdoor game in the nation's capitol. If this game goes to a shootout, expect Kane to show off his skills. The player on the Capitals that I am going to single out is Alex Ovechkin. Ovechkin is the captain of the Capitals. He is a player who likes to steal the show. Many teams have difficulty playing defense on him because he able to move across the ice so quickly, but he is very sneaky. His amped-up style of play gets his team going. It will be a very exciting game. It will be interesting to see how these two players perform in the Winter Classic.
