Marco Scandella Suspended
Minnesota Wild defenseman Marco Scandella was suspended for two games because of an illegal hit to the head of New York Islanders' forward Anders Lee. Scandella was given a two-minute minor for the hit at 17:32 of yesterday's game. He will forfeit $11,021.50 and it will be given to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
