Penguins Send Three Home to be Tested for Mumps

The Pittsburgh Penguins sent forwards Brandon Sutter and Steve Downie and goaltender Thomas Greiss back to Pittsburgh to be tested for mumps. All three players had accompanied the Penguins on their trip to Florida. Sutter, 25, has seven goals, seven assists, and 14 points in 32 games this season. Downie, 27, has five goals, 12 assists, and 17 points in 32 games. Greiss, 28, has a record of (3-2-2) in seven games this season. Greiss had previously been tested for mumps, but his results came back negative.
