Sidney Crosby
Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby was diagnosed with mumps. He missed Friday's 3-1 win against the Flames and last night's 4-3 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets. It was announced that he will also miss tomorrow night's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Per team doctor Dharmesh Vyas, Crosby will be over with the infectious period of the disease and will be monitored daily. It is possible that Crosby will return to game action soon. Crosby, 27, has nine goals, 26 assists, and 35 points in 27 games this season.
