Stars Acquire Antti Niemi
The Dallas Stars acquired the negotiating rights to goaltender Antti Niemi from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for the 193rd overall draft pick. Niemi, 31, has played in 338 career games for the Blackhawks and Sharks. He has a career record of (190-100-40) with 32 shutouts.
