Maple Leafs, Panthers Swap Hyman, McKegg
The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired the rights to forward Zach Hyman and a conditional seventh-round draft pick in the 2017 NHL Draft in exchange for forward Greg McKegg. Hyman, 23, has yet to appear in an NHL game. He was the Panthers' fifth-round draft pick in the 2010 NHL Draft. McKegg, also 23, has played in three career games for the Maple Leafs. He has yet to record a goal, assist, and point in his career.
