Wild Place Matt Cooke on Waivers
The Minnesota Wild placed forward Matt Cooke on waivers for the purpose of buying out the final year of his contract. Cooke, 36, has played in 1,046 career games for the Canucks, Capitals, Penguins, and Wild. He has 167 goals, 231 assists, and 398 points in his career.
