Penguins Hire Mike Sullivan as Minor League Head Coach
The Pittsburgh Penguins have hired Mike Sullivan to serve as the head coach of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, the Penguins' American Hockey League affiliate. Sullivan, 47, served as the head coach for the Boston Bruins from 2003-2006. In two seasons as head coach, he compiled a record of (70-56-15-23). He has also served as an assistant coach under John Tortorella for the Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Rangers, and Vancouver Canucks.
