Bruins Trade Hamilton to Calgary, Re-Sign McQuaid

The Boston Bruins traded defenseman Dougie Hamilton to the Calgary Flames in exchange for a first-round draft pick and two second-round draft picks in the 2015 NHL Draft. Hamilton, 22, has played in 178 career games for the Bruins. He has 22 goals, 61 assists, and 83 points in his career. The Bruins also re-signed defenseman Adam McQuaid to a four-year contract through the 2018-2019 season. The deal is worth $11 million. McQuaid, 28, has played in 283 career games for the Bruins. He has nine goals, 34 assists, and 43 points in his career.
