Capitals Re-Sign Nate Schmidt
The Washington Capitals re-signed defenseman Nate Schmidt to a two-year contract through the 2016-17 season. The deal is worth $1.6 million. Schmidt, 23, has played in 68 career games for the Capitals. He has three goals, seven assists, and 10 points in his career.
