Maple Leafs Sign Boyes, Release Glencross, Setoguchi

The Toronto Maple Leafs signed forward Brad Boyes to a one-year contract. Boyes, 33, has played in 762 career games for the Sharks, Bruins, Blues, Sabres, Islanders, and Panthers. He has 203 goals, 278 assists, and 481 points in his career. The Maple Leafs also released forwards Curtis Glencross and Devin Setoguchi from the professional tryout contracts. Glencross, 32, has played in 507 career games for the Ducks, Blue Jackets, Oilers, Flames, and Capitals. He has 134 goals, 141 assists, and 275 points in his career. Setoguchi, 28, has played in 471 career games for the Sharks, Wild, Jets, and Flames. He has 127 goals, 122 assists, and 249 points in his career.
