Maple Leafs Acquire Michael Grabner in Six-Player Trade
The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired forward Michael Grabner from the New York Islanders in exchange for forwards Carter Verhaeghe and Taylor Beck, defensemen Tom Nilsson (not pictured) and Matthew Finn, and goaltender Christopher Gibson. Grabner, 27, has played in 317 career games for the Canucks and Islanders. He has 95 goals, 60 assists, and 155 points in his career. Verhaeghe, 20, has yet to appear in an NHL game. Beck, 24, has played in 85 career games for the Predators. He has 11 goals, 12 assists, and 23 points in his career. Nilsson, 22, has yet to appear in an NHL game. Finn, 21, has yet to appear in an NHL game. Gibson, 22, has yet to appear in an NHL game.
