The Colorado Avalanche released defenseman Andrej Meszaros from his professional tryout contract. Meszaros, 29, has played in 645 career games for the Senators, Lightnings, Flyers, Bruins, and Sabres. He has 63 goals, 175 assists, and 238 points in his career.
