Roman Polak to Miss Rest of Season
The Toronto Maple Leafs announced that defenseman Roman Polak will undergo season-ending hernia surgery. Polak, 28, has five goals, four assists, and nine points in 56 games this season. To take his place, the Maple Leafs called up defenseman Petter Granberg from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. Granberg, 22, has no goals, assists, or points in six games this season.
