Flames Place Giordano on Injured Reserve, Claim Schlemko Off Waivers
The Calgary Flames placed defenseman Mark Giordano on the injured reserve with an upper-body injury. Giordano, 31, has 11 goals, 37 assists, and 48 points in 61 games this season. The Flames also claimed defenseman David Schlemko off waivers from the Dallas Stars. Schlemko, 27, has one goal, three assists, and four points in 25 games with the Coyotes and Stars this season.
